Day 10: Stretch

Move your body!

Our bodies were made to move, but because of most of our jobs we often get stuck in sedentary positions. 

It’s time we honored what our bodies were made to do, and started each day with a little love.

We don’t need to get crazy, and jump into an hour workout each morning, but we all should warm up with a little stretching.


CHALLENGE:

For the next 20 days part of your morning routine will include 5-10 minutes of stretching. Yes, you should aim for the 10 minutes, but realistically I know many of you are starting to build new habits, so its totally acceptable to do just 5 minutes.

Doing anything even for a short period is better than doing nothing at all.


EXAMPLE;

After you’ve done your 5 gratefuls, roll out of bed, stand up, and stretch. You can roll onto the floor, and do the same thing.

However, just jumping up and down, doing jumping jacks, running in place, swinging your arms back and forth, or whatever totally counts. We just want to get our heart rates up, and feel our body begin to work. 

It feels good to move!

Its good for your mind, your body, and your soul to freely move about, and let your body breathe.
