Recycle Your Closet

I've always believed in recycling. It's good for the environment, it helps reduce waste and it breathes new life into what something once was.

When you consider this idea in terms of fashion, it truly allows you to stand apart in an endless homogenous world where everyone wears the same thing.

This is what I am talking about:

A quick trip to the art store, 5 dollars, 2 small things of fabric pain, and boom you have brand new custom vintage Levi's.

Innovative. Resourceful. Recycling.

In a world where everything old eventually becomes new again, it's smart to hold on to some of your staple pieces because you never know when they will become the "it" thing to have.

Yes, not everyone wants a flag on their ass, but I am sure you can find something cool to doodle onto your cheeks.

Get creative. Have fun with it, and worse comes to worse you get rid of something you probably weren't wearing anyways.
