Day 15: Clean Up

No one likes being a mess, or living in one.

When the space around us is cluttered, chaotic, and unorganized our minds are so much more likely to take on this type of energy.

Our room, apartment, house, or overall living environment is a reflection of us and our mind sets. We want to be as clear headed as possible, and allow ourselves to have every part of our lives working for us, not against us.


CHALLENGE:

Today’s challenge is all about cleaning up and organizing.

Whatever your living arrangements are, take time today to tidy up a bit, or do a full on clean thats been long over due.

Finding a home for things that have just been sprawled all over will physically declutter your space, but will also dramatically change your headspace as well.

Additionally, doing a quick 5 minute tidy up every day will help remove the need for those bigger and more daunting clean ups that we tend to find ourselves in need of doing.


EXAMPLE:

  • Do you laundry.
  • Put away your laundry.
  • Clean off your desk.
  • Clean your bathroom.
  • Clean your bedroom.
  • Make your bed.
  • Have a maid come and clean your space for you.

A clean and calm living environment will remove stress, anxiety, and give a you an overall peace of mind.

Your home is the foundation for everything else in your life. It’s the place you go to reset, regroup, and recharge. Make sure it is your personal oasis where you can go to just be. 

By really taking full advantage of today’s challenge, tomorrow’s will be even easier.
